"Return to Oz" remains one of my favorite movies and had a major influence on me and my sister as children. Then, as teens, "120 Minutes" helped us find bands!
Somehow it was a major release but none of our contemporaries were familiar with it?! We saw it air on TV first, at night, and there was a dreamlike quality to the whole experience. I just had my sister to corroborate! I watched the credits to get Fairuza's name because I fell in love with her, then used it a few years later to track down a copy of the movie on VHS (now it's in my DVD collection).
omg I so imprinted on this movie!! that room of heads! the wheelies! the whole thing terrified me but in a way I really enjoyed. also I love that you're watching your way through 120 minutes!

RTO was so influential! And I had almost convinced myself it didn't exist!
